What is happening
Beginning in early September 2026, people have contacted us after being drawn into a “remote work” program that presents itself under the name Paul Klebanov. The program runs on a website at paulklebanovmkt.com. It uses our name and signature logo without permission.
From what affected people have described to us, the pattern is consistent: an unsolicited text message offers a remote job, a “trainer” assigns a “work account,” the account shows earnings and then a negative balance, and the person is told to deposit their own money, often through a payment app, to unlock withdrawals or receive a “deposit bonus.” The Federal Trade Commission describes this pattern as a task scam.
None of this has any connection to us. No payment made to that website was made to us, and no one working with us has contacted anyone about it.

Any site, account, or person asking you to deposit money to “work” or “unlock earnings” under our name is not us.
- We do not recruit or hire by text message, WhatsApp, or Telegram.
- We do not offer “work accounts,” task-based commissions, or check-in rewards.
- We never ask anyone to deposit, transfer, or send money for any reason.
- Our only way to start a conversation with us is through this website: the contact form or a scheduled call.
What we have done
On September 5, 2026 we reported paulklebanovmkt.com to its domain registrar and its hosting provider, submitted it to Google Safe Browsing, Microsoft SmartScreen, and Netcraft, and filed reports with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center. We are preserving all related correspondence and will update this page if the situation changes.
If you were contacted or sent money
- Stop all contact with the “trainer” and the website, including its chat. Do not send anything further, even to “release” funds.
- Contact your bank or payment app immediately and ask about reversing the payments.
- Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and to the FBI at ic3.gov.
- Keep every message and screenshot. Investigators may ask for them.
- Be wary of anyone who later offers to recover your money for a fee. That is a second scam.
Contacting us about this
If you received a message from someone claiming to be us, you may forward it to hello@paulklebanov.com. Payments made to the impersonating website were not made to us, so we are not able to issue refunds or intervene in individual cases. Our role is to report the impersonation to the authorities, which we have done, and to help people recognize it, which is the purpose of this page.
